A LEGACY
LAUNCHED IN 1978
Virginia “Ginny” Snow Harris was a lifelong resident of Nibley, Utah and grew up as an only child on the family farm land that includes Ginny’s Pit Stop today.
Ginny and her husband Bob Harris raised 10 children in Nibley as she always wanted a large family and a full house, which included lots of friends and neighbors. Ginny loved to have a fun place where everyone was made to feel welcome and there was always something to eat or drink. Ginny’s always lived by the motto, “there are no strangers here, only friends we haven’t met.” Even into her 90’s she always had plenty of treats to offer and would say “If you leave here hungry, it's your own fault”.
Ginny and Bob opened Bob’s Service, a gas station, convenience store and repair shop in 1979 since so many people stopped at their home after running out of gas. Ginny and many of the extended family ran the business for many years.
Ginny’s legacy continues today at Ginny’s Pit Stop offering a quick “fill up” of a cold or hot drink, a freshly baked cookie or sweet or a hot savory snack to keep you going in a fun friendly environment just the way Ginny did it - “if you leave here hungry, it’s your own fault”.
